Men's Night
Changes to Handicapping
Since there have been changes to the format of men's night that require accurate and fair handicaps (ie. net score prizes, net skins, stableford scoring) your handicap will be calculated using the lower of two calculated numbers.
your recorded RCGA Handicap Factor on the club computer.
your Nine Hole Handicaps - Handicap Factor (N) calculated on your men's night scores over the last 2 years doubled.
Using this number a handicap is calculated by multiplying by the slope of the tees played and then dividing by 113. The resulting number is then rounded to the nearest whole number.

How are ties broken?
Gross Ties
If the tying players have the same score for the last nine, determine the winner on the basis of the last six holes, last three holes and finally the 18th hole.
Net Ties
If this method is used in a handicap stroke-play competition, one-half, one-third, one-sixth, etc. of the handicaps should be deducted. Fractions should not be disregarded.
Net Skins
In order to win one must shoot the best untied score on a hole once handicap strokes have been awarded according to the difficulty of the hole.

Example- Golfer A (Handicap 4) pars Hole #6 with a score of 4. He is entitled to 1 stroke on this hole making his net score 3
-Golfer B (Handicap 19) pars Hole #6 with a score of 4. He is entitled to 2 strokes on this hole making his net score 2. If no one else records a net score of 2 he will win.
