2nd Annual Stableford
As an added extra a free hold’em tournament is included with the golf tournament. So if you were not lucky at golf maybe you will be lucky at cards. Do not be intimidated if this is your first time playing, it’s an easy game to learn but a difficult one to master (just like golf in some ways). All you need is a chip and a chair for a chance to win one of the eight donated prizes. We would like to thank our many sponsors once again for their over-whelming generosity that benefits our many projects through fellowship and service. So enjoy yourselves and feel free to play side games if you happen to get knocked out early with a “bad beat”.
Starting Chip Count will be based on your stableford golf score multiplied by 100.
Equal number of players will be maintained at each table until two tables of four remain. These tables will be combined for the final showdown.
The Blinds will be raised every ten minutes as follows:

Poker is a microcosm of all we admire and disdain
about capitalism
and democracy.
It can be rough-hewn or polished, warm or cold, charitable and caring or hard
and impersonal. It is fickle and elusive, but ultimately it is fair, and right,
and just.
Hold 'em is to stud
what chess
is to checkers.
